You should also consider the location of the hotel you are looking at and if the price is considerably less than surrounding facilities, that could be a hint that it will not be a four star unit.

You should also return the favor once you return from your trip by writing an honest review of the place at which you stayed. Be sure to be totally honest with any hotel reviews you leave as there may be other people depending on how you state your experience in making their decision of where to stay.
